View the itinerary below for detailed information.

This trip departs daily.

2 nights 3 days

GRG Office, Thamel, Kathmandu at 6.30am daily

All activities based around our camp Gurung Valley

Sept – Nov, End of April – June

Today we will raft the Trisuli river, one of the best and most popular day trips we offer in Nepal.

We will meet you at 6.30am in Thamel (or in Pokhara) to the catch the bus at 7am where we will then drive approx three hours to Chauraudi, the start point of our rafting trip. We will then jump our and have a cup of tea whilst the guides get all the equipment sorting out. During this time you will have time to change into your river clothes (Wetsuits available on request) and we will give you a comprehensive safety briefing about what to expect whilst rafting and how to be safe on the water. After this, it’s a short 5 minute trek down the the river and we’re off! 4 hours of rafting (with a lunch stop on a white sandy beach) of big bouncy rapids, swimming and a few cliff jumps if your man enough! We will then arrive at Buttar where we have our riverside camp where we can change, have a hot chocolate and get the camp fire started for a night under the stars. Welcome to our 5 million star resort!

In the evenings at camp, you will have the opportunity to swim in our brand new swimming pool, enjoy a campfire, help out in the kitchen and learn to cook Nepali food if you wish or simply chill on our private beach with a cool beer.

The next day we’ll be up with the sun and greeted by an incredible breakfast of toast, eggs, pancakes, muesli, fruit salad and more (honestly!). Then, depending on your kayaking abilities we will give you a kayaking taster day.

If you are complete beginners we will take you on the flatter sections, the ‘lake’ at the front of our camp is the perfect spot to teach you.  If you have kayaked before then it’s time to hit some rapids.

With safety kayakers and guides with you the whole time this is the perfect environment to learn.

In the afternoon we will come back to Buttar where we will camp for one additional night.

Our third and final day. Today after breakfast we will drive just 10km up the road to our canyoning zone in Jalberi. Here we will kit you out with wetsuits, suitable footwear and safety equipment.

Then it is a scenic 20 minute walk to the start point. Get ready to have your breath taken away as the first waterfall you see is a massive 100m!!!!

After a safety briefing and a few test runs we will then start our descent of the canyons. Once we have reached the end (probably 3 to 4 hours later) it’s time for a quick lunch then we can transfer you to Kathmandu, Chitwan or Pokhara (or a destination of your choice…just let us know before hand)

Or if you prefer you can spend an additional night at Gurung Valley.

If you’ve loved the trip, why not ask us about what you can do next!?
