River Itinerary

DAY 1: We'll start things slow and warm up on the Trisuli, just a 3 hour drive from Kathmandu. This will give you a chance to try out the whitewater or Nepal and give our guides the chance to decide whether you are competant to take on the other rivers. After 4 hours on the water we will take out and head to Pokhara

DAY 2: Today we will take on the Upper Seti just 40 minutes from Pokhara. A nice run with plenty of whitewater folllowed by another night in Pokhara and Busy Bee bar!

DAY 3 : Today we hit the bolder garden of the Modi, possibly the hardest river we will encounter on this trip. Only a short drive from Pokhara, this is usually the favourite.

DAY 4 - 6 : Time to say goodbye to Pokhara as we head east, to the Marsyandi for three days of thrilling whitwater. This river is what kayaking in Nepal is really about. Depending on your ability, there are different sections avaliable to run. We will return to Kathmandu this evening.

DAY 6 : Free day in Kathmandu. After the raging Marsyandi, we'll take a well deserved rest and have a day sightseeing the local temples in Kathmandu, refuel and get ready for the next days!

DAY 7-9 : Now it's time to head up North towards the Tibet border. In three days we will paddle the Upper Sun Kosi (also known as the Lower Bhote Kosi), the Belpehi and finally the Upper Bhote Kosi. Depending on water levels and paddling abilities, the Upper Bhote Kosi may not be runnable, in which case we will paddle a different section of the Lower Bhote Kosi. During this time we will stay in our river side resort which offers a swimming pool, pool table, fully stocked bar and thatched tents. After the final three days, we will head back to Kathmandu.

* This is just a guide and the itinerary may change at short notice depending upon kayaking ability, water levels and weather. If we do not feel that you are competant to paddle the above rivers we will switch to another.

This trip can be changed to suit your time schedule and pace. If you want to add in more free days, chop a river out, add a different one, we are here to help! Send us an email if you would like more information on this once in a lifetime trip.
