The World Class Kayak Academy is a non profit privately accredited kayak high school. They will be spending their 2012 fall season in Nepal in which GRG's will be organising logistical support and Maila is working as a Guest Kayak Coach. This school has seen some of the great names of whitewater kayaking go through their classes.

 

The UK Canyon Guide Association. Our Canyon Guides have been trained by this organisation and every year several of their guides come over to help run our canyoning trips and train new Nepali Canyoneers. If you want to learn how to be a canyoneer, they will be running training courses Sept-Dec every year.

Robson Paddles - Maila's official sponsor and the lead in Kayak Paddles in the world. We have many Robson paddles in our boat house, they are a strong paddle that we are confident can handle the tests of the Himalaya!

 

Nepal Assocation of Rafting Agents (NARA). The govening body of rafting in Nepal, GRG's is listed as a member and as such as their full support in running our business. They are also the main organisers of many rafting events locally. GRG often provides them logistical support when running their local and international events

The Mighty Pen. A International Non government organisation that works in Nepal. They support many schools and work in 30 regions of Nepal. They bring Canadian School groups here every year and GRG's has been running their trips for the past 3 years.

 

Himalayan River Guide Association Nepal (HRGAN). This is the main assocaition in Nepal that supports the river guides, offering them opportunities to work overseas and giving them support when necessary. Maila is an active member of HRGAN and all our staff are registered with them.

Kayaks and Paddles is a leading whitewater kayak shop in the Uk. Tom the manages of the Plymouth branch is a great friend of ours and annually paddles in Nepal. They are also one of the main sponsors of the Himalayan River Fest.

Working along side their charity supporting child care centres, schools, street childrens centres and orphanages in Nepal.

 

An organisation in Kathmandu that is dedicated to cleaning up our cities and educating people about waste disposal. GRG have teamed up with Grran Soliders and have spent weekends running litter picks in the local area.

 

Outdoor Instructor Academy Our good friends from Shropshire UK, who provide Outdoor Courses rangeing from one day skill based training, to those wanting to learn a new hobby, through to our 8 or 11 week Outdoor Instructor Academy which provide candidates with the skill set, knowledge and qualifications required to pursue a career in the outdoor adventure industry.
