7 days Learn to Kayak Course

If you want to learn to kayak and want to do a longer course than our standard 4 days clinic, then this is the trip for you. We will follow the first four days of our normal clinic and then head on over to the Lower Seti for three days to really test in your new skills. The Seti is very different from the Trisuli, the rapids are slightly more technical and the water a bit lower, so this will test the skills we have already taught you and give you a few more! View the itinerary below for more information.

TRIP DATES

SEPT - JUNE

ITINERARY

DAY 1-4

We will follow the same itinerary from our four day course. Things change tomorrow however...

DAY 5-7

Today we start the Lower Seti. This river is famous for having the warmest waters in Nepal as it is fed by the natural hot springs high up in the Himalaya. We normally raft this river in just two days, but as we are learning kayaking, we will take our time to give you the opportunity to learn as much as you can. The scenery of the Lower Seti is absilutley stunning, keep an eye out for those cheeky monkeys on the rocks as you paddle down. We will have raft support with us during this trip meaning we can camp where-ever we want on the white sandy beaches. In the afternoons and evenings we can practice our rolls and river crossing, before enjoying a nice camp fire under the stars.

At the end of the 7th day, we will take out on the Trisuli river around 2pm. From here we can take you to Chitwan, Pokhara or Kathmandu, or come back to our camp for one more night, or why not try a days canyoning with us before you head on to your next adventure.

Marleen B - UK - "I did a kayak clinic with GRG and enjoyed the whole experience. Received good tips on how to improve my kayaking skills and had great fun paddling and playing on and off the water with the team members. Next to the paddling, we played with poi, made music and sang by the fire and exchanged massage techniques. Everyone was very friendly and the team looked after me very well. I was luckily to spend a lot of time with various members of the team as I was the only visitor at the camp during the 4 days. The camp is at a lovely location. I camping under the stars and candle light dinners. I highly recommend joining a trip or clinic with GRG particularly if you intent to spend some time to get to know the team - they are great fun! Thanks everyone and hopefully see you again one good day!"
