Rock and Raft!
This is a combination trip of our two most popular day trips. We will take you for one days whitewater rafting on the Trisuli river, followed by a riverside beach camp and the next day some awesome canyoning. The ultimate adventure.
Rock & Raft Nepal is a great weekend escape from Kathmandu. The Trisuli is a great river, relatively close to Kathmandu. It's perfect for anyone wanting to get a taste of whitewater rafting in Nepal, and combine this with our awesome canyoning day trip and a night at our Camp, and you've got yourself on fantastic weekend.
This trip is perfect for those who are looking to travel in between Kathmandu and Pokhara, or just looking for a weekend escape from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu city.
We will depart early in the morning and dirve to our put in point at Charuardi on the Trisuli river. You will then have time for a few snacks and coffee whilst the crew set up the equipment. We will then issue you with a helmet, life jacket and paddle and your guide will give you a safety briefing of what to expect over the next few hours. After a quick practice run in the flats, we're off. You can expect some big bouncy rapids on the way down, lots of time for swimming and playing games and if your daring enough a great cliff jump. Once we reach camp, the tents are already set up with your bags inside and its time to chill out along the river bank, enjoy a tasty BBQ,, camp fire and see how many shooting stars you can count.
Up reasonably early in the morning, greeting by tea and coffee and an amazing river breakfast. We will then have a short 30 minute drive to our canyoning point. Its then a quick 30 minute walk up through the local village and rice paddies, to our start point. Again we will give you a safety briefing and detailed instructions of what to do. You have a course of around 6 waterfalls, slides, jumps and abseils ahead of you. After which, we'll have a spot of lunch and deaprt. You will have the option of staying at our river side camp (maybe trying out some kayaking?!) or you can continue your adventure to Chitwan, Kathmandu or Pokhara.
