Bunjy Jumping
Imagine a bridge 160m high over a tropical bridge with one of Nepal's wildest rivers beneath you...Now Jump!!!
For many people, hurling themselves off a stable platform into a gorge is one form of holiday adventure, for many other people it’s a good way to scare their pants off. Which ever your preference, Nepal os home to the third highest Bungy Jump in the world, and dare we say the most spectacular? The jump is a 160 meter plummet into a narrow slab sided canyon with the mighty Bhote Kosi River thundering its course below you, and no raft to bounce off either!
We also offer the worlds highest giant swing. If you don’t fancy jumping and yo-yoing up and down this intimidating canyon, then try strapping yourself into a harness and swing into the canyon as if you were the pendulum on a grand father clock. We just wonder when people are going to stop coming up with death defying ways to raise pulses, get adrenaline pumping and challenge gravity!
Just in case you have seen the not to sturdy bamboo constructions that pass as bridges on the upper trekking trails, then please let us assure you that these facilities are operated with the best safety standards by trained professionals up to an international standard. The jump staff are all trained and have experience in western facilities of the same standard. The jump was designed by New Zealand’s leading bungee Consultant (thankfully not the same guy who built that two pole bamboo bridge over the upper Marysandi). The site is situated three hours drive from Kathmandu at The Last Resort. You can combine a trip to this place with other activities like canyoning, rafting, trekking and mountain biking, or just stop off for a jump on your way to Tibet.
This is an ideal trip to link with rafting on the Bhote Kosi river.
