GRG's Style of Travel

GRG’s stands for Gurung's. This name was chosen as the majority of our staff are from this Neplai caste. #Gurung’s are known for their relaxed, friendly attitudes, combine this with their hard working values and you get the makings of a perfect river guide.
GRG’s was established in 2008, although our guides have been working for many years for multiple companies and in many countries around the world. We decided to pool together our international experience to create this company.
The ultimate aim of establishing GRG's was to break out of the mold of run of the mill “herd them in herd them out" tour companies and bring a new element to travel in Nepal. We want to showcase the cultural side of Nepal to our visitors and package it up in one fun, friendly and life changing experience for you…our guest. We assure you that when you travel with GRG’S that you will be back for some more of our “Fine and Nice” style of travel...'It's not just about getting there, it's the journey that takes you there'.

What do you need to know about us?!

At GRG's this is our life. We live on the rivers, trek through the Mountains and travel through Nepal. We are not just some tour operator that will transfer you on to another company, we do everything ourselves (even the washing up!) and we believe that this is the best way to be. We are a small, locally run company which means we can give you more time and a more personal, hands on experience. We have lived in Nepal all our lives so we know the best parts to show you and have the kind of knowledge that cannot be found in a book. When we are not running trips we are always out exploring, trying to discover new 'off the beaten track' places to take you.

Have a look at our Feedback page to see what our passed customers have to say about us.

. . . . . . . .EXPERIENCED. LOCAL. PASSIONATE. SAFE. FUN. FLEXIBLE. DEDICATED. AUTHENTIC.

Safety

Here at GRG's 'safety first' has always been our motto and is always the first thing that we thing about when running a trip. As with all adventure sports there are some risks involved, but we do our upmost to make sure that you are as safe as possible to make sure that you have the best time that you can.
